Ayush kwath is formulation of ayurvedic herbs. Ministry of Ayush, govt of India has recommended combination of tulasi, sunth, dalchini & kali miri decoction to boost immunity & health promotion

Herbal medicine is an ancient traditional medicine. Several plants are used as home remedies .

1 Tulasi (ocimum sanctum) is one of the medicinal plant with wide range of applications
Beneficial properties of this medicinal plant mainly originate from its biochemical active constituents like eugenol, carvacrol, ursolic acid, B-caryophyllene & rosmarinic acid.

This  Indian herb is used in Ayurveda in treatment of fever, cough and colds, bronchial asthama, bronchitis, malaria, chronic fever ,diarrhea, skin diseases etc
Ocimum sanctum i.e.basil also has been suggested as anticancer, anti diabetic,analgesic, antifungal, anti bacterial, anti emetic, antispasmodic. It helps to keep heart, lungs,liver, brain, kidneys.

Culinary uses of Black pepper are well known.it can be added to variety of recipes , soups, salads.

Excessive use may cause burning sensation in throat and stomach.

3 sunth is dried ginger
Ginger has a antiviral activity.
Active compounds present in ginger, such as gingerols and zingerone inhibit viral replication and prevent viruses from entering host cells

Gingerol may be effective against respiratory infections

Ginger is used to help digestion, reduce nausea, help to fight viral fever, common cold.
It can be used dry or fresh or powdered

4 Cinnamon
Is popular spice as well as medicinal plant
The distinct smell and flavour of cinnamon are due to oil present in it which has compound cinnamaldehyde, it helps to enhance health benefits and metabolism.
Cinnamon is an antioxidant, contains polyphenols, cinnamon is antioxidant super food
Cinnamon has anti inflammatory properties
Cinnamon may help to reduce risk of heart disease, reduce high blood pressure, reduce bad cholesterol LDL cholesterol and triglycerides cinnamon may increase good cholesterol HDL cholesterol level.
Cinnamaldehyde present in cinnamon may help fight bacterial, microbial, viral,fungal infections
